Woodwork News

We have recently acquired a new Carbatec edge sanding machine (see post here) which is ready for use with the adjacent small dust extractor.

A CMS member has kindly donated a very well made and very accurate picture frame mitre jig which is to be used with a fine tooth saw. Please see one of the wood mentors if you are uncertain re use of either of the above.

Anyone wanting a refresher or any guidance on any of our fixed or hand held machines please see Bruce M or Bruce W at the Shed.

Early next year we will offer some practical training re the many uses of a Router and converting same into a Spindle Moulder table. Also practical training on sharpening plane blades, chisels etc. So check your emails in January if interested
