Shed trip to Elphinstone Engineering

Nine Channel Shed members were treated to a fascinating tour of Elphinstone Engineering at Triabunna recently. Elphinstone Engineering is an Australian company which manufactures specialised trailers for the transport industry and equipment for weighing trucks, including on-board scales, with a focus on forestry industry support and Antarctic equipment.
Owner Graeme Elphinstone told us why and how he started his successful weighing systems business and how he has a close relationship with his workforce.
Diversification has seen their weighing systems, weighbridges and trailers used in many modes all over Australia and Antarctica.
